Many professional hockey players give back to the game in the summer by participating in youth hockey camps. The Griffins' youth camp, which will run from July 30-Aug. 3, offers young players the chance to learn from three players who have won the Stanley Cup.

Brendan Smith proved to be an NHL-ready defenseman this season during two brief stints with the Detroit Red Wings. After picking up seven points in 14 games, he'll return home to the Toronto area and prepare for what he hopes will be his first full NHL season next fall. |
