HOGGAN STILL HAS FIRE

Veteran Jeff Hoggan, 36, is determined to make what could potentially be his final professional season with the Griffins a success.

CLIMBING THE LADDER

At Detroit's development camp, a handful of players with Griffins experience spent five days sharpening their skills. With camp now concluded, take a look at upcoming prospects and the role of the Toledo Walleye on player development.

IN GOOD HANDS

The Griffins’ 18th season is in the books. While the conclusion of Hockeytown West’s 2013-14 campaign didn’t yield any cup-hoisting déjà vu, it’s not to say that the team didn’t achieve innumerable successes throughout the season.

SPEEDY ASCENT

Since arriving in Grand Rapids last month, Detroit Red Wings prospect Andreas Athanasiou has already made an impact on the Griffins. After his Barrie Colts were knocked out of the OHL playoffs, the lightning-fast forward now gets a second chance at a championship.

FINNISH SNIPER

Having now spent a full year in North America, Teemu Pulkkinen, the Griffins' 2013-14 regular season scoring leader, is primed and ready to score even more points as his career starts to take off.
