"Be Sure To TIP-A-GRIFFIN"
On MONDAY, NOV. 16, Griffins players, coaches and hockey staff will give up hockey and work as waiters at seven different Grand Rapids-area Applebee's locations, all to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Kent County. The return of Tip-A-Griffin, which raised more than $50,000 for various charities during its first five years, runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the following Applebee's locations (players subject to change):

- Each player's signed apron will be auctioned off from 8:00-8:30 p.m.

Silent Auction
These auction items will be won through a slient auction that will begin at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 8:00 p.m. that evening. Winners need not be present to win. All winners will be contacted by Fri., November 20, 2009.

About Habitat for Humanity of Kent County
Habitat for Humanity of Kent County is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization that builds homes in partnership with low-income families.
