Chief Operating Officer/Alternate Governor

Biography:


Scott Gorsline is responsible for all of the operational aspects of DP Fox Sports & Entertainment’s sports properties, including the Griffins.

Gorsline most notably helped negotiate the Griffins’ affiliation agreement with the Detroit Red Wings in 2002 along with its five-year extension in 2007. He serves as the team’s alternate governor to the AHL Board of Governors and has been involved in numerous franchise start-ups during his years with DP Fox, including the Griffins (1995-96), IHL Kansas City Blades (1996), AFL Grand Rapids Rampage (1997-98) and Oklahoma Wranglers (1999-2000), and af2 Wichita Stealth (2000-01). Gorsline also oversees Griff’s IceHouse at Belknap Park, the Griffins’ practice facility, on behalf of DP Fox.

Gorsline has had operational roles with other DP Fox-affiliated companies, including Powell Pointe at Cape Eleuthera, a high-end resort development in The Bahamas. Gorsline currently serves as COO of PAMELLA ROLAND, a high-end, New York-based design house run by designer/president Pamella DeVos. In addition, he oversees Fox Insurance Agency, along with DP Fox’s human resources and IT departments.

Gorsline has been with DP Fox Ventures, LLC, parent company of DP Fox Sports & Entertainment, since 1995. He graduated from Alma College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and history, and received his JD and MBA from the University of Detroit, where he was editor of the Law Review.

He and his wife, Mary, are the parents of triplets Grace, Elizabeth and Isabel.
