Biography:

After serving as a locker room attendant for the Griffins from 2004-11, Andrew Stegehuis helped the team earn its first-ever Calder Cup during his first season as assistant equipment manager in 2012-13.

Stegehuis joined the Griffins full-time after spending the 2011-12 season as the equipment manager for the USHL’s Chicago Steel. He has also assisted the Chicago Blackhawks during the team’s prospect camps, training camps and playoff runs, including their 2010 Stanley Cup championship. The Grandville, Mich., native is currently pursuing a degree in sports management from Davenport University.

Proudest professional accomplishment: Becoming an equipment manager for a pro hockey team.

Most memorable on-the-job mistake/embarrassing moment: During Blackhawks training camp on the bench former Griffin Tomas Kopecky asked for a towel. As I tossed it, it parachuted down on the guy's head sitting next to him, covering his whole face... that guy's name is Jonathan Toews

Favorite charities/charitable causes: Anything that helps sick or underpriveleged kids

Most exciting/unique thing you've done or place you've visited: Spending several days with the Stanley Cup over the summer of 2010
