College degree/year/school: I graduated in 2010 from Ferris State University with my degree in Advertising.
Sports idol(s) as a youth: Mia Hamm, and of course Chris Osgood
As a child, you dreamed of becoming: A professional soccer player was all I ever wanted to be, then I grew up…
First job/your age: My first job, that I count, was working at the Jelly Stone Campground in Frankenmuth, as a summer job when I was 15 with two of my cousins.
Most exciting/unique thing you’ve done or place you’ve visited: Cliff jumping while on a canoeing trip in the Chicago area with my boyfriend, sister & brother-in-law.
Sports played growing up: I’ve played soccer pretty much my whole life, but I also ran track, and played basketball and volleyball in high school. Oh, and snowboarding if that counts too.
An interesting fact about you: I write, bat, golf, play hockey & tennis left handed, but throw, shoot, kick with my right hand/foot.
Favorite sports movie: It’s gotta be The Sandlot
Favorite book or author: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Favorite pro/college sports teams (excluding Griffins): The Red Wings & Tigers
Favorite recreational activities/hobbies: Anything that takes you outdoors, I love playing with my dog Kodiak, and most recently I’ve taken on learning how to ride a dirt bike.
