Biography:
Sean Wright began his tenure with DP Fox Sports & Entertainment in 2001 as director of arena advertising sales. Following a promotion in 2008, he now serves as the Griffins vice president of corporate sales.
Wright oversees arena advertising sales and the Griffins corporate sales department, having responsibility for maintaining and servicing current clients as well acquiring new business through team sponsorships.
Prior to his time with DP Fox Sports, the Oakland, Calif., native spent two years with Citadel Broadcasting as a radio sales representative. Wright currently serves on the board for Georgetown Little League and on the committee for the West Michigan Charity Sports Banquet, a fundraiser for the Childrens Miracle Network.
He and his wife, Sara, have three daughters, Jessica, Kaitlyn and Allison, and one son, Carson.

What you love most about working for the Griffins: Game Day. All the work we put in throughout the summer and the hours spent during the week culminating into two hours of watching fans have a great time. Win or lose, watching the fans react to the product is the highlight of my week.
Favorite Griffins memory: The game 7 comeback in 2006 versus the Manitoba Moose.

Best thing about your job: I'm a sales person through and through and I love meeting new clients and helping them fulfill their marketing goals.

States (and provinces or countries) youve lived in: I was born in California. Lived in Missouri, Georgia, Illinois and Michigan.
Personal/professional hero(es): My father. He was a career sales person and taught me everything I know about sales.
As a child, you dreamed of becoming: I've always wanted to be in sports somehow. When you're a kid you thought the only way is to play sports, so I dreamt of playing baseball.
First job/your age: When I was 17 years old I worked as a busboy.
Proudest professional accomplishment: Promoted to current position - Vice President of Corporate Sales
Most memorable on-the-job mistake/embarrassing moment: During a meeting with Comcast I misspoke and said "I've sat in every chair in the arena". The looks I got were crazy. I caught it and said I've sat in each section in the arena.
Professional memberships/civic leadership positions: Jenison Public Education Foundation and Georgetown Little League.
